Building The Fleet

Bord na Móna finally decided on the locomotive they required, by building it themselves. Following the design of their Ruston prototype LM 175, they constructed LM 176, which weighed 8 tons and had an 80 HP Ford engine. This machine was put to work at Derrygreenagh Works near Rochfordbridge.
