Description of Operations
Bord na Mona operates industrial railways throughout the midland counties of Ireland for the purpose of supplying milled peat to Power Stations, Briquette Factories and Horticulture Plants. The total landholdings of Bord na Mona are in the order of 85,000 hectares of peatland.
